VICTORIA LEAGUE

Pleasant Social Evening Held More than a hundred Victoria League members were present at a social evening held at Miss Gwenetbe Walsbe’s studio on Monday evening, when a varied programme was presented, ail the items being arranged by Miss Walshe. Miss Walshe gave an interesting talk on her trip to England. Victoria League hospitality, she found, was exceedingly lavish in England, and overseas visitors were made to feel quite at home. An exhibition of the recent ballroom dances was given by Miss Walshe and Mr. Roy Moore, and items were given by Miss M. Hunt (piano solos), Mrs. Colebrook, Miss M. Davies, -Miss I.
