Haile Selassie Sues Cables And Wireless Ltd. London, October 18. The former Emperor of Abyssinia, Haile Selassie, is suing Cables and Wireless, Limited, for approximately £lO,OOO which he claims was owing before the departure of the Emperor from Ethiopia in connection with the maintenance of the London-Ethiopian radio-telegraph service. The company admitted that . the money was due, but"pleaded that the King of Italy had become Emperor and that the cause of Haile Selassie’s action was vested in the Italian Government.
