HIGH TEMPERATURES IN LONDON
Severe Thunderstorms (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, August 4. _ High temperatures were recorded in London to-day for the third day in succession and the heat brought severe thunderstorms. Tube traffic on the northern' spur of the Piccadilly line was brought to a standstill this evening following serious flooding at an underground station caused by a storm which broke over north London.
