Licensed Victuallers’ • Tournament The Wellington Licensed Victuallers’ Association will hold their aauual golf tournament oa the Manor Park links oil August 24. Quite a shower of trophies are competed for at this tourney. Iu the morning there will be a medal round for holders of licences only to decide the champion. There will also be handicap medal and bogey competitions for publicans, wholesalers and "others,” and a trophy for the best gross medal score. In the afternoon a 12 a-side teams’ match, Retailers v. Wholesalers, will be played as a fourball best-ball event ou handicap. There will also be nine-hole bogey competitions for retailers, Wholesalers and “others,” and a trophy will go to the player returning the best net medal iu the afternoon. There will also be a prize for the limit player returning the best net medal score over 27 holes. Charity putting competitions will be held.
