Music Teachers’ Association A most successful year from a musical point of view was reported at the annual general meeting of the Wellington branch of the Music Teachers’ Association, held recently. The financial state of the association was satisfactory, the year’s expenditure exceeding income by a small amount only. Miss Valerie Carlies was re-elected president. with Mr. Gordon Short and Mr. Temple White as vice-presidents. Miss Hobbs. Miss Clere, Miss Duncan, Mr. Watkins, Mr. Stanley Oliver and Mr. Hamilton Dickson were appointed councillors.
