Wellington Members Meet A social gathering of members ot Clan Cameron in Wellington wasTielil ■last night, Dr. P. D. Cameron presiding. Clan Cameron is a movement tt> preserve the entity of the elan by reuniting members scattered throughout the world, keeping alive Scottish history, folklore and legends, and ensuring that the historic homes of the chiefs are retained. Initiated in 1576 in Glasgow, the movement has gathered impetus in the last 18 months; branches have been formed throughout the world and there are now eight subbranches in New Zealand. There was an attendance of about 50 members last evening. Items were given by Messrs. June and Pauline Cameron and Miss M. Grey. Mr. A. Stark played the accompaniments. Mr. lan Cameron, organiser, outlined the progress of the movement in New Zealand.
