NEW ZEALAND CREDIT
High Standing in London “I am satisfied that New Zealand s credit in London, stands as high as any of the Dominions,” the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, said yesterday. While at Home he had met with assurances of goodwill on every side. “There was nothing but praise for those handling our produce, for our High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, and for everything that New Zealand was trying to do,” said Mr. Savage. I am sure of this; that if people could only say what they thought, they would say that the attitude of the New Zealand delegates, even at the Imperial Conference, was not less loyal than that of any of the other Dominions’ delegates. One can disagree with otherpeople without in any way destroying New Zealand’s reputation and credit. I came away from England thoroughly satisfied that we have gained ground—not lost any.”
