Young Gildo’s reappearance in the Wellington ring is keenly looked forward to by enthusiasts, who will remember the masterly display he gave in June, when Rayner took the count in the fourteenth round. It may be safely said that Gildo is- one of the most attractive boxers ever to visit this country. Versatile to a degree, he intersperses spectacular points victories with wins by the short route.
