ERRING MOTORISTS
Lower Hutt Prosecutions 'Miscellaneous traffic cases were dealt with by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Lower Hutt, yesterday. John Leslie Ness was fiued £l, witli costs 19/-, for driving a motor-car in a manner dangerous to the public. Sergeant J. W, Mcilolm said Ness was driving behind a hits in High Street. When the bus pulled up at Tiarng’s Road to allow a cyclist to pass in front, Ness carried on and hit the cyclist. Doris Krebs wns fined 10/-. with costs 10/-, for driving without a licence. Joyce Marguerite Boyd was fiued 10/-, with costs 10/-, for failing to signal when about to turn to the right. Frank Kettlewell, Newlands, was fined £3, with costs 12/-, for driving in a manner which might have been dangerous tn the public. Inspector A. C. Crawford prosecuted. Alan Carruthers and Leonard Clarence McClelland were each fined £2, with costs 10/-. for exceeding 30 miles an hour in the borough. James Chambers was fined £l, with costs 10/-, for being on the licensed premises of the Bellevue Hotel after hours.
