Patterson, Waipukurau, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Miss Betty Neave, Halswell, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. W. Watson is a Wellington visitor to Auckland. Mrs. W. Miller, Kumeroa, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. G. H. Swan, Gonville, Wanganui, is visiting her granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Barton, Wellington. Mrs. Claude Horne, Wanganui, is paying a visit to Wellington. Returned Home Miss Vera Martin has returned to Christchurch from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. A. Dalgetty, Hawera, has returned home from a visit to 'Wellington. Mrs. Alan Waters, New Plymouth, has returned home ofter spending a holiday at Wellington. Miss B. Gardiner, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned • to her home at Patea. Miss M. Edgar, Palmerston North, has returned home after visiting her sister, Mrs. K. M. Poulton, Hataitai, Wellington. Mrs. M. Beamish has returned to Patea from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. W. G. Simpson has returned to Hawera from Wellington. Mrs. G. H. Tockcr has returned to Hawera from Wellington. Mrs. T. Hurley has returned to Hawera from a trip to Wellington. On Holiday Mrs. Reading and Miss Betty Reading, who have been the guests of Sir John Sinclair, Dunedin, will return to Wellington on Friday morning. Miss Loeta Hodge will leave at the end of the week on a holiday trip north and will spend a week with her parents in the Wairarapa before returning to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. T. Hills, Batea, are spending a holiday at. Wellington and Pahiatua. Mrs. A. Preston, Wellington, is spending a holiday at Palmerston North. Mrs. E. Kempson is a Wellington visitor to Palmerston North. Miss Gwenda Norman Jones, Lower Hutt, has left for New Plymouth and Mount Egmont, where she will spend some time ski-ing. Later she will go south to Mount Cook, where she will take part in other winter sports. Miss Gwladys Jones, of Wanganui, who is at present visiting relatives in Palmerston North, will leave next month in company with her sister, Mrs. J. M. Russell, Wanganui, on an island cruise. Miss Alleen McCauley, Wellington, is visiting her parents, Colonel D. McCauley and Mrs. McCauley, Bedford Avenue, Gonville, before sailing from Wellington on the Wanganella for Sydney on August 5. From Sydney Miss McCauley will travel by the Orford to Colombo, where she is to be married. Returned to Wellington Mrs. W. H. von Heisenberg, Northland, has returned from Queen Charlotte Sound, where she has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. Roy Barber. Mrs. W. H. Johnson, Talavera Terrace, has returned to Wellington after visiting her father, Mr. Herbert Humphries, Napier.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Morrell-Anstiss and their small < son have Jeft Wellington to reside in Auckland.
