The outstanding batting performance in the series of county cricket championship matches which was completed to-day’ was that of Wyatt (Warwickshire), who carried his bat for a double century. In the same innings Dollery made 165. Centuries were also made by Fishlock (Surrey). Barber (Yorkshire), and Allen (Gloucestershire). Glamorgan won by ten wickets. Hampshire v. Worcestershire, at Bournemouth. —Hampshire, 215 (Moore 90; Warne six for 60) and 212. Worcestershire, 215 (Heriniin live for 69) and 18S (Hill four for 39). Hampshire won by 84 runs. Yorkshire v. Gloucestershire, nt Bristol.—Yorkshire, 316 (Turner 84: Lyon live for 72) and 273 for four, declared (Barber 107 not out). Gloucestershire. 256 (Allen 102: Smailes four for 40) and 214 (Crnpp 82: Bowes five for 36). Yorkshire won by 119 runs. Sussex v. Northamptonshire, at Kettering.—Sussex, 251 and 193. Northamptonshire, 181 (Hammond live f 50) and 226. Sussex won by 35 runs.
