FUNERAL OF MARCONI
Estate Expected to Total - £5,000,000 Bologna, July 23. Two hundred thousand people lined the streets when the funeral cortege of the Marconi traversed thoroughfares to the Cathedral for the obsequies and burial in the family vault at Sertosa Cemetery. The Marchese Marconi’s daughter. Elettra, it is now believed, will inherit half of the estate, which is-expected to total £5,660,000, and also a quarter of the other half, which Italian parents are obliged to bequeath among their children. Marconi’s three children of the first marriage will thus inherit about £600,000 each. The widow will enJoy an interest in Elettrh’s half-share during, her lifetime.
