STUD SHEEP

For the Argentine and Uruguay Some high-class stud sheep will leave New Zealand for the Argentine and Uruguay in the s.s. Huntingdon, Mr. W. Rayner, the Masterton breeder, who has an established reputation in the Argentine, is sending consignments of Lincoln, Romney Marsh and Corriedale sheep to Montevideo and Buenos Aires. For the August sales in Buenos Aires Mr. L. R. Wilton, Rangitumau, Masterton, is sending some rising two-shear sheep, low set and carrying quality fleeces ot' typical Lincoln wool. A stud Corriedale ram hogget bred by the New Zealand and Australian Land Company, Moeraki Estate, Hampden, Otago, is going to the Argentine. The stud Romney ram hogget purchased at a record price from Mr. J. G. Alexander, Maxwell, on behalf of a prominent breeder in Uruguay, is also being' forwarded. All the sheet) are being shipped through the stud stock department of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.
