CYCLIST INJURED

Accident at Moera A collision between a heavy lorry and a cyclist occurred outside the Prince Edward Theatre at the corner - of Leighton Avenue and White’s Line East, at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. The cyclist, Mr. George Furey. 59 Trafalgar Street, Lower Hutt, was knocked down and received injuries to his face and shock. After receiving medical attention he was taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance. Little damage was done to the cycle.
