HOROWHENUA HOCKEY
Men’s Association Abandoned Dominion Special Service. Levin, May 10. At the annual meeting of the Horowhenua Hockey Association it was decided to abandon the men’s association this year because of the change in the weekly half-holiday, and to promote the women’s association as far as possible. The following oliicers were elected : — Patron, Mr. H. Nicholson; president, Mr. J. Gillespie; vice-presidents, Messrs. J, McCaw, T. Wehipeihana, K. Spierw, L. J. Fitzgerald, H. B. Euhouse, A. Brandt, J. 1). Howell, T. O’Rourke, Major, Tatum, and Mrs. Spiers; secretary and sole selector, Mrs. Seal; treasurer, Mr. H. L. Witchoil; auditor, Mr. B. McAlister; delegate to New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association, Mr. H. Nicholson.
