Royal Limond jumped six hurdles at a fast pace and his stable-mate, Arctic Star, did a similar task without any mistakes. Jolly Beggar had hid/final schooling be. j fore leaving for his 'North Island trip, jumping six hurdles in bis usual dashing 5 style. Haeretonu shaped satisfactorily over four hurdles, and Giggleswick jumped two fences well. Over country Thurina had bis first ’ jumping since being recommissioned, and I he negotiated a round of country safely ‘ and appeared quite sound afterward. ’ Nocturnus and High Speed went once ’ round over country, the former being held back to his companion. R. Reale loft for the north to-night and will ride Monastic and Boughal at the Egmont meeting. He will be nt the Waikato meeting, his mounts including Royal Limond, Jolly Beggar, and Emancipation.
