ACTORS MAY STRIKE
Unanimous Hollywood Vote MAIN DEMANDS GRANTED By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received May 10, 9.30 p.m.) Hollywood, May 10. After it was announced that the Actors’ Guild in a unanimous vote had authorised a strike, Mr, Joseph Schenck, chairman of the Film Producers’ Conference Committee, enid that, six studios. Columbia, RKO, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, M.-G.-M., and Universal, had agreed to grant the principal demands. Ho Indicated that other studios were willing to agree also. The guild instructed its executive to got into contact with all studios, and will strike against any failing to sign Agreements within a week. Many prominent actors and actresses have indicated their willingness to act as pickets. The guild’s action will not affect the strike of technical workers, which is continuing.
