WEDDING PRESENTS
Numbers Arrive at Chateau de Cande London. May 6. The Tours correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that in the hope of catching sight of the Duke of Windsor and Mrs. Wallis Simpson many thousands took advantage of a public holiday and flocked to the Chateau de Cande. Cars aud charabancs waited patiently for hours, but the visitors were not rewarded. Mrs. Herman Rogers states that wedding presents are arriving at the chateau, but mostly from unknown people in the United States.
