RONGOTAI OLD BOYS

Ambitious Programme for Year At a general meeting of the Rongotai College Ohl Boys’ Association this week it was decided that the annual subscription for members over 21 years of age be raised to 5/-. This, move was made necessary by the greatly enlarged programme of events now being undertaken by the association. Already this year a good start has been made with sporting fixtures and cricket and tennis matches have been played with the college and Hutt Valley old boys. Events planned for the remainder of the year include golf matches with the masters and Hutt Xralley old boys, football against Stratford old boys at Stratford, a sports meeting at the college on Old Boys’ Day, an annual ball, and the annual dinner, which is to take the form of a decade dinner to celebrate the tenth year of the college’s existence. This decade dinner is to be the feature of the year’s activities. Opportunity was taken ar the meeting to ask all old boys to join their own Rugby club, where they could maintain the old friendships of their college days.
