Empire Women Golfers at Ranelagh London. April 15. Miss Peggy Nankivell (Melbourne), with a score of 79, won the founders' trophy at the inaugural meeting of the Vesta Golfing Society, which was formed to provide facilities for women golfers from the Empire. Miss Mabel Stringer, founder of the girls’ championship, presented the trophy, which is a replica of Hie vestal lamp. It will be competed for annually. Miss Nankivell’s score was far ahead of tlie other competitors, who included Miss E. Kemp (New Zealand), with 104. The contest was held at Rnnelagli.
