LIST OF PRINCIPAL EVENTS

Next month is to witness a great historic pageant in England, the crowning of King George VI, and the whirl of social and sporting engagements that will be associated with that Royal event. There will be assembled in Loudon a great number of important personages and interesting people. From all points of the compass they will be pouring into London during the coming month to do honour to England’s new King and Queen. Naturally the festivities arranged for the weeks preceding and succeeding the great event are on a scale of unusual lavishness and splendour. No one of the hundreds of thousands visiting the Old Country from overseas need be at a loss any day for thrilling entertainment and diversions. The list of events is a long one. Those set out below are only the chief events. There are hundreds of others which will doubtless attract their quota of the public during the busy weeks ahead.
