Brief Visit to New Zealand Dominion Special Service. Auckland, April 16. A distinguished medical authority. Dr. J. Meakins, professor of medicine at McGill University, Montreal, arrived from the United States by the Monterey. Dr. Meakins, who was accompanied by .Mrs. Meakins, was met ou arrival at Auckland by Dr. Lawrence Ludbrook. A brief visit to New Zealand is being made by Dr. Meakins. who will leave for Sydney in about a week’s time. He is to lecture at. Sydney University as part of a post-graduate course being given there, and will sail from Brisbane on June 1-1 for Japan, which he plans to visit before returning to Montreal.
