Short Visit to Dominion With an experience of Guiding obtained iu England, I' rance, and Italy, and with the hope that she could make an acquaintance with several officers of the movement in New Zealand, Mrs, L. Mackesoit-Saiidliacli. district commissioner of Girl Guides in Kent, arrived by the Aiataroa at 'Wellington yesterday. Together with her husband, she is making the round voyage. Mrs. Mackesou-Sandbach was attracted to the movement first in Wales, where she was born, and in the course of several journeys on the Continent met with enthusiastic supporters all over France, .and a few British companies of Girl Guides at Bordigherra. in Italy. With much new-found knowledge she was able to introduce new ideas into the Kentish companies, which were very strong numerically, and intensely keen to follow and carry out the ideals aud principles of the movement.
