NATIONAL RESERVE
Oriental Bay Branch A general meeting of the Oriental Bay-Roseneath branch of the Women's National Reserve, Residential Nursery Division, was held at the residence of Mrs. W. Burton, 294 Oriental Parade, last week. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs. Martin Hewitt; vicepresidents, Mesdames Elenor Hemptou, W. Burton, A. Cowles; honorary organiser, Mrs. Elenor Hemptou; honorary secretary-treasurer. Mrs. J. Hughan; committee, Mesdames Cronin, O. A. Murdoch, Walshe, Stringer, AV. AV. Bird, and Miss Denton; emergency committee, Mrs. Al. Hewitt, Mrs. Elenor Hempton, Mrs. AV. Burtou, and Airs. J. Hughan. The first activity of the branch for the year will be a bridge party to be held at Airs. AV. Burton’s home on April 23, at 2.30 p.in.
