(Received March 17. 11.15 p.m.)
Washington, March 17.
Although he did not mention President Roosevelt’s proposals, Judge McReynolds. of the Supreme Court Bench, addressing a small audience at a fraternity banquet, deplored the complaints of losers of court actions. ■ He said the evidence of good sportsmanship would be the acceptance of the outcome of a fair tribunal. “Thousands and thousands of thiugs come before the court and are settled to the general satisfaction,” he said. “I like to believe In the courage of the American people and hope they will make a solution of which they may be proud.”
Judge Mcßeynolds is the first member of the court to express his views on its relationship with the Government since President Roosevelt advanced his proposals.
