'The fall in tin caused an easier tendency for shares on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day. A weaker trend was also apparent with regard to Barriers and Mount Lyells. Woolworths ordinaries slumped on the announcement of the new issue of ordinary shares and the profit figures, but the market, was inclined hrm at the close.
