Review of the Prospects

Strong fields are carded for the opening day .of the Gore Racing Club’s autumn meeting at Gore to-day, but despite the abundqnce of recent form there may be one or two surprises if the going is at all dead. Win and place betting will operate. The following horses will probably be fancied iu their engagements:— Gore Highweight: Trebleack and Look Smart. Longford Hack Handicap: Golden Vision and Silver Sail. Electric Trot: Labour Chimes and Abel. Racing Club Handicap: Ocean Singer and Travenna. ’ Novice Handicap: Natty and Golden Song.
