CYCLE BRAKE FAILS

Yesterday’s Accidents

The brake of his cycle failing to stop him when he was descending a hill near the intersection of Bolton Street and The Terrace, last evening. Gerard Greene, aged 13, 129 Elizabeth Street, fell off the machine and received a cut over his left eye and shock. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.

Mr. P. Gavin, 8 College Street, an elderly man, fell down stairs at home. He was taken to hospital by the ambulance with a cut on his head.
