PHYSICAL FITNESS
Y.M.C.A. Classes to Resume Soon Of recent months much . justifiable concern has been shown by parents regarding the health of their children. Such concern would be largely mitigated it parents were confident that their children were physically fit. The Wellington T.M-C.A. announces in this issue the comniencement of its physical and gymnastic programme for the ensuing year, and parents are notified that boys and girls attending the classes are to be given a comprehensive course of physical and recreational training under experienced guidance. Adults also are to be catered for along up-to-date lines. The facilities offered include keep-fit exercises, eurythmics, calisthenics, gymnastic dancing, basketball, boxing, fencing, and jiu-jitsu. Physical culture groups for married ladies and for secondary schoolgirls are to be a special feature, . while several classes are available at different times to suit business men. The association’s gymnasium prospectus is available on application, and class enrolments are now being received. Junior classes commence on February 15.
