TENDERS INVITED BY ADVERTISEMENT
In the advertising columns of this issue, the Palmerston North Hospital Board invites tenders for the rerooting in galvanised iron of the X-ray block of the Palmerston North Hospital. Mr. S. V. Burridge, Petone, seeks tenders for repairing about two to three miles of fencing, splitting from 2000 to 4000 battens, broadcasting about 30 to 40 tons of super, and clearing some 200 acres of manuka. The property is in the Taihape district. The Public Works Department culls tenders for the formation and metalling of two miles 1.6 chains of. road containing approximately 11,000 cubic yards of excavation in rock and clay formation, and 2000 cubic yards of metalling at Scoria Flat, Tongariro National Park. Tenders are called by the Akitio County Council for the metalling of approximately 90 chains of the Range Road. Pukctoi.
