Blomfleld Disqualified. At the Leichhardt Stadium. Sydney, Lofty Blomfleld was disqualified for punching in the seventh round of a wrestling match against Danny Dusek. Each had previously gained a fall.
King to Attend Luncheon. King George VI will attend the Empire Parliamentary Association’s luncheon in London on May 7 in order to meet the Parliamentary delegations from all parts of the Empire.
Canada and Neutrality. Without division the Canadian House of Commons refused to pledge Canada Io neutrality in the event of war, and rejected a Commonwealth Federation resolution favouring neutrality no matter who are the belligerents.
Sir 11. Wilkins’s Plans. Sir Hubert Wilkins lias sailed from England for America. “It is impossible for me to make my submarine voyage to the Polo in 1937,” ho said. “I want a submarine built in Britain, but the shipyards are busy with the rearmament programme.”
