PRISONERS SENTENCED
By Telegranh—Press Association Dunedin. February 5. Prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Kennedy to-day. Cyril Reynolds, aged 29, for breaking and entering at Invercargill, was sentenced to one year’s reformative detention. William George Thomas, for defrauding a widow of £139, was sentenced to twelve months’ reformative detention, and for escaping from prison to two months imprisonment. The Crown prosecutor stated that, in addition to the New Zealand offences, Thomas had convictions in Australia.
