Has Not a King a Right to be Human?

(To the Editor.) Sir, —After reading “Loyal Britisher’s” letter, it comes as a surprise to see the nom-de-plume, for no matter what the decision of the King, a loyal subject would stand by him. Another point: Has not even a king a right to be human? Some seem to forger that a king may be a man. I wonder what “Loyal Britisher” would do if he were called upon to make as momentous a decision as has fallen to His Alajesty? —I am, etc., A NEW ZEALANDER. Masterton, December 8.
