ORGANIST RETIRES

Farewell Recital at Seatoun Church There was a large attendance at the Seatoun Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening when a musical service was held to mark the retirement from the position of organist of Mr. R. Coombe, who had occupied the office witli great ability for several years. The order of service included a varied range of well-interpreted organ music ae a farewell recital by the organist. Miss Margaret Walker sang “The Holy City” and a Handel recitative. The Rev. A. A. Armstrong preached on the appropriate topic of “Hymns as Keys to the Heart,” and at the close of the service expressed the congregation’s thanks to the artists and the thanks and good wishes of the church to Mr. Coombe. A retiring offering in aid of the. organ funds was received. Mr. Neil Keith has been appointed organist and will commence duties next Sunday.
