Three Boys and a Girl Before Court Three boys and u girl were charged with breaking, entering and theft before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M.. in the Petoue Children’s Court yesterday. All were resident at Moera. The four were jointly charged with three offences. Three of them were onarged jointly with eleven offences. Two of them were associated with one charge and there were three other charges. The appearance of the children before the court was the result of an cpideiuie of petty theiving in the Hutt valley, said Seuior-Sergcaut H. C. D. Wade. Juvenile crime was very prevalent in the Dominion aud was causing a great deal of concern to the police. One boy was committed to the care of the child' welfare superintendent. Another hoy was sent to an institution for six months and placed under supervision for two vears. The girl and the other boy were placed under the supervision of the child welfare officer for two years.
