Sir, —Would you please pass on the enclosed 5/- to the Oriental Bay newsboy who had his money and papers stolen. Forty years ago 1 was a newsboy in one of the Australian cities, and 5/- was a whole lot of money to me. This letter expresses two wishes: Success to the newsboy, and whatever the thief buys it h the money may it choke him. —I am. etc., A WELLINGTON BUSINESS MAN. Wellington. November 17.
