THEFT OF BENZINE
Probation For Young Man Dominion Special Service. I’almerston North, November 17. Probation for a year was granted Wallace Brown, aged 21, to-day, when lie pleaded guilty to the theft of two gallons of benzine from Haywood Vulcanising Works, Ltd., by whom he bad been employed. Detective-Sergeant J. Bickerdike said the firm had been missing benzine for some time. When Brown was interviewed he admitted taking benzine, Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., told Brown it was his last chance. If he came before the court again he would be imprisoned.
