“EMPEROR OF ITALY”
Emmanuel’s New Title Paris, November 16. “Le Matin” states that the King of Italy will not take the title of King of Italy and Emperor of Ethiopia when he is crowned Emperor, but simply “Emperor of Italy.” This is regarded as an Italian method of avoiding tlie subject of recognition of the conquest of Abyssinia in the French Ambassador’s credentials, which hitherto hag been causing difficulties.
