Extension of President’s Powers (Received November 17, 11.30 p.m.) Washington, November 17. Mr. H. M. Morgcnthau, Secretary of the Treasury, stated that world economic conditions demand thaNJongress extend the President’s powers to maintain the stabilisation fund and devalue the dollar, which expire ou January 30, 1937.
