FLYING TACKLE THAT MISSED

Lundyn Incapacitated

By Telegraph—Press Association.

Christchurch, November 12.

In a bout that was notable more for showmanship than for real wrestling, George Walker, 15.7, defeated Alec Lundyn. 14.9, the bearded Esthonian, at St. James's Theatre last evening.

Lundyn gained a submission fall in the third round with a Japanese leg and arm lock and Walker equalised in the fifth round with a head scissors and press following a flying tackle and drop-kick. In the following round Lundyn shot right over the ropes when Walker evaded a flying tackle, tumbled into the orchestral well and was un-, able to continue the bout.
