WRESTLING ON MONDAY

The wrestling match at the Town Hall between Bob Kruse and “Lofty’’ Blomfield, originally set down for Tuesday evening, is now to be held on Monday, which has come to be regarded in Wellington as “wrestling night.” Previous contests between the pair have resulted in a draw and a win on points for Kruse, which makes it evident that the men are exceptionally well matched. Blomfield will probably have the support of the majority of the spectators when he enters the ring, but all of those who give him their encouragement will appreciate the fact that his opponent is one of the most formidable wrestlers ever brought to this country. He is an ideal match for Blomfield, as the latter does not mind whether the going is rough or smooth, and enn be relied upon to see to it that the proceedings never become tame. There will be amateur preliminaries from 8 o’clock.
