Johnsonville Club Officers
The annual meeting of the Johnsonville Tennis Club was held recently, the club’s patron, Mr. A. A. Moore, presiding. The annual report showed that the finances were very sound. Officers for the forthcoming season were elected as follows: —Patron, Mr. A. A. Moore; president, Mr. F. Jacobs; vice-presidents. Messrs. G. C. Rodda, W. Mills, 0. Angel, H. E. Lamb, F. J. Embury. H. D. Morgan, S. Beaumont, A. H. Willetts, and Father Evans; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. W. Watts; honorary auditor, Mr. C. R. Richardson; club captain, Mr. E. Peryman; management committee, .Mrs, E. Peryman, Miss C. Sloane, Messrs. J. Engel, G. Norton, and D. Sloane; delegate to Wellington Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. C. W. Watts. It was decided to open the season officially on October 3.
