SUNDAY CONCERT
Entertainment of exceptional merit was provided at the New O[>era House last night when in addition to marches and selections by the Port Nicholson Silver Band and items by assisting artists, two delightful scenic films. “Romantic New Zealand"- and “Amokiira." were presented. Daphne A’iolieh. Vivian Middleton. Dan Hopa, and Ernest Dean were the soloists, and the Revellers’. Dance Band Was heard in popular numbers. The New Zealand Publicity and Tourist Department’s film, “Romantic New Zealand,” gives al] too Ttrief glimpses of beauty spots in both islands, including views of the thermal region and the fertile acres of sunny Nelson.
