CHEERY DANCE

Sunny Bay Golf Club If all golfers are as cheerful on the links as they are in a dance room, then they must be a very happy band—and members of the Sunny Bay Golf Club must surely rank among the happiest) for their dance, held at the Kellburn Kiosk on Saturday night, was one of the moot successful of the season. There was a very large attendance, all present entering thoroughly into the Spirit of the occasion. Dancing took place in the central hall tad supper was served at the many tables which were arranged in the glassed-in veranda with its glorious view of the harbour and light-studded hills. A popular orchestra played the latest dance tunes, and during the evening demonstrations of the slow foxtrot and the quickstep were greatly appreciated. The social committee responsible for the success of the occasion were: Mr. A. Stark (secretary), Miss M. Agar, Miss I. Wylie, Miss Nancy Heinemann, Miss M. Wilmot, Mr. R. Hill and Mr. Alan Sutherland, and members of the general committee were: Mr. Graham Lambert (club captain), Mr. S. Jantke (vice-captain), A. Boyce (treasurer) and P. Verschaffelt (secretary).

Among the many dancers present were: Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Dykes, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Ellis, Mr. and Mrs O. Goldsmith, Mrs. C. Stark; Misses Va'lda Wilson, T. Adamson, L.
