ENGLISH TEST TEAM
Worthington Asked to Play
(Received July 24. 1.15 a.m.) London, July 22. T. S. Worthington (Derbyshire) has been invited to replace M. Leyland (Yorkshire), who has a strained groin, in the English team for the. second cricket Test against India, at Manchester. G. O. Allen, the English captain, who has been resting because of a slight strain, will play against India in Saturday’s Test. lie says: “There is now nothing wrong with me.”
