MISSIONARY AUXILIARY
Lower Hutt Branch Meeting
There was a good attendance recently at the Lower Hutt branch of the Presbyterian Girls’ Missionary Auxiliary, when the annual meeting was held at St. Stephen’s Manse. Miss Hazel Bartou, the president, was in the chair. The secretary, Mias K. McNeil, presented a satisfactory report of the year’s activities. Garments made by the girls hud been sent to the Chinese and Indian Presbyterian missions, and also to the Maori mission sisters at Christmas. The missionary study for the year was on the Indian field. The attendance of the auxiliary was increasing, nnd several new members had been welcomed. Officers were elected as follow: President, Miss D. Winter; hon. president, aiiv>. Lopdell; vice-presidents, Miss K. McNeil and Miss Ellen Thompson; secretary, Miss Loris Sullivan; treasurer, Miss Hazel Barton; Maori Mission Birthday League secretary, alias Alolly Colquhoun; stamp secretaries, Alise Wilma Alcllwraith and Miss Peggy AlcCarthy.
