Dimedin Exhibition Nets £739 By t’filegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, June 22. Mr. F, W. Mitchell, president of the Dunedin branch of the Crippled Children Society, lias received a ehequb for £733/14/9. the gross proceeds of the exhibition of Titania’s Palace in Dunedin. Hi addition to this amount a sum of £5/7/6 had been received direct by the society as a result of the exhibition of the palace, making the total collection £739/2/3. The attendance and the sum received were exceeded only at Christchurch, where tire palace made a longer stay and where the population is substantially greater. On the second day at Dunedin 1441 people saw the palace, and on the last day but one 1335, both of these figiires being record attend- ( ances in the Dominion for one day. The total numbers of visitors to the palace were 10,948 adults and 6188 children. 17.136 in all, an average attendance of over 700 a day! The whole amount less expenses will go to swell the funds of the Dunedin branch of the society.
