FOOTBALLERS INJURED
Four footballers who were injured on Saturday afternoon were attenced by the Free Ambulance and removed to hospital. Severe concussion was received by U. D. Meek, clerk, 17 Elizabeth Street, but he was able to return home from hospital yesterday. L. Moody, grocer, 12 Maidive Street, Khandallah, received a of the right leg while playing at Wake field Park. N. Laurence, clerk 10 Rimu Street, dislocated his left elbow while playing at the Petone recreation ground, and J. Bray, clerk, 131 Brougham received an injury to his right hip _ playing at the Lyall Bay recreatio. ground. ___
