New Chief Secretary For New Zealand Intimation has been received by LieutC'ommander Adams, territorial commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, that General Evangelien Booth has appointed Lieut-Colonel George W. I’. Grattan to he chief secretary for the army in the Dominion, in succession to Colonel A. Orsborn, who is to take up the position of territorial commander for Scotland and Ireland. . Lieut.-Colonel Grattan has been a divisional commander in England, his latest appointment being the South West Command, which includes the counties ol Devon, and Cornwall, with headquarters nl Plymouth. He has also served as assistant field secretary. and as private secretary to Mrs. Bramwell Booth and ('ommissioner Hurren.
