INSURANCE OFFICERS
Annual Conference of Guild At the sixteenth annual conference of the Insurance Institute find Officers Guild of New Zealand, held last week in the rooms of the institute, Featherston Street, the honour of life membership was conferred upon Mr. AV. 0. Gibb in recognition of meritorious service during bjs term of office as general secretary.
Delegates from ail centres were present at the conference of the institute, the activities of which embrace educational, social, financial and other features which are conducted in the four main centres for the benefit of the insurance profession, and remits for the improvement of all activities are considered each year. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. E. E. Hammond, F. 1.1. (unanimously re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. G. It. Brookes, ALL (Auckland), E. 0. Ellison, A. 1.1. (Christchurch), J. A. Allen (Dunedin); executive council, Messrs. G. R. Brookes, A. 1.1. (Auckland), IL 1.. An.derson, A. 1.1. (Auckland). AV. D. Lane (Wellington), P. J. Doogan (Wellington). H. C. Campbell (Christchurch), C. A". Ritchie (Christchurch), J. IL Mclvor, A. 1.1. (general secretary).
